International Giveaway!

Bonjour!

Ici at Niftyknits we love our international customers - especially as they're all so very very good at speaking our language ;-)

So when the weekend papers were kind enough to give us some free language course CDs we thought they'd work well as a giveaway ;-)

Por favor leave me a comment to tell me what you'd like to see new in my shops and I'll ask random.org to choose not just one, mais DEUX winners!

The first winner can choose which set of 2 CDs to win, the runner-up will receive the autre set (there are two Italian CDs, two Spanish)

Simples! Ne pas oublie to leave me a way of contacting you. I will pick the winners next Sunday.

Hi I am going to Italy later this year and would love to learn a few words before I go. I love your knitting. Have you ever tried knitting with wire, I have and it is very hard on the fingers.

I haven't tried wire - I greatly aadmire those who crochet with wire (I'm not sure I've seen wire knitting) but I'm sure it must be painful.

How about some "foreign stereotype" Meerkats? I think they'd be great - Toreador Meerkat, string-of-onions Meerkat, and so on!! :)

LOL - string'o'onions meerkat sounds great - bowler hat and briefcase meerkat, californian beachbum meerkat - oh what fun. thanks for that!

I'd love to see you traditional rag dolls like a girl rag doll that you could dress up and change her clothes. Or a farmer rag doll for boys. Or a knitted teddy. I had when I was younger that I adored. I'm training to work with children and I think rag dolls are much better for their development than plastic Barbies. And they are easier for parents to clean, etc.

Thanks Sharon. I think there are rather a lot of knitted teddies and rag dolls on the market already, but thank you. I certainly agree about farewell to barbie!
